Nice friendly welcome, a varied beer selection. The food was very tasty & well presented. ( fish & chips, rack of ribs, meat & potato pie, chilly burger ) Great value for money. Will definitely call in again.

First time visitors, drawn by the lovely Loxley beers and reviews. Arrived early lunchtime. Glad we did as the pub soon filled. Great service, food and beer. Very impressed by the care given to a table of customers with additional needs. Patient, caring and kind in a very understated way. Need to find a bus route. Those beers are so good

I had the minted lamb burger topped with feta. It was gorgeous. The chips and coleslaw were lovely, too. The only downside of the session pale ale was warm and not very pleasant to taste. Other than that, I can't wait to try more on the menu! A pint of cider, a bottle of peroni and two burgers came to about £28!! So cheap and the portions are generous.

Absolutely brilliant friendly staff, quality of the food was superb, actually visited two nights on the trot. Had various meals from the menu from pizza to pub favourites sausage and mash, highly recommend the homemade meat and potato pie with mash and pea's. The curry dish was nice also.

Excellent pub food. Portions are very generous with delicious authentic fresh ingredients and always served piping hot. Prices are really reasonable too. £12 for a pie and chips and it was fantastic. Almost everyone was ordering it once they'd seen the plates
